Capital Manor is a not-for-profit life plan community near the Willamette River in Salem, Oregon. This warm and well-designed environment is created to maintain a vibrant lifestyle, keeping residents close to everything they love about the Willamette Valley. The balcony redesign project involved removing the existing pavers, TPO roofing, and waterproof membranes on the balconies down to a suitable substrate.
The area was then prepared for the installation of a new traffic coating and pedestal paver system. This system used Buzon PB-Series pedestals and HDG Platinum Grey concrete pavers. The slope-correcting Buzon pedestals allow the substrate to slope towards the drains while keeping the surface of the concrete pavers perfectly level. This eliminates the uncomfortable feeling residents and guests sometimes experience when the balcony surface slopes away from the building.
